Nature Biotechnology Journal
It is raining RNA-seq papers at Nature Biotechnology. Like Nature Genetics went Nature GWAS, Nature Biotechnology has gone Nature RNA-seq :-) Nature BioTechnology journal just published 5 RNA-seq papers in its advanced online publication. The 5 RNA-seq papers addresses some very old questions like “concordance of RNA-seq and microarray data”, interesting old questions like “RNA-seq normalization” and some new interesting questions like “how does RNA-seq compares across multiple sequencing technologies, such as lllumina and PacBio?” They all look like interesting read, hoping to read them and write some posts on it soon.
- Detecting and correcting systematic variation in large-scale RNA sequencing data, Sheng Li et. al.
- Multi-platform assessment of transcriptome profiling using RNA-seq in the ABRF next-generation sequencing study, Sheng Li et al.
- Davide Risso, John Ngai, Terence P Speed, and Sandrine Dudoit
- Charles Wang
- A comprehensive assessment of RNA-seq accuracy, reproducibility and information content by the Sequencing Quality Control Consortium EQC/MAQC-III Consortium
